Back Stage unveils national edition
East and West publications combined in one paperThe actor's resource Back Stage has launched a national edition of its weekly print publication.
The new Back Stage combines content from the former East and West editions -- in particular casting notices for New York and Los Angeles projects -- in addition to news, advice and features. Back Stage plans to expand its coverage to include information related to key regional cities.
"As many of our readers are bicoastal and move from city to city for acting opportunities, the national edition expands the critical information available to our audience, which has expressed great interest in what's going on around the country," said Jamie Painter Young, Back Stage national editor-in-chief.
Back Stage, a sister publication of The Hollywood Reporter, also offers the national edition in a digital page-turning format that offers interactive tools and RSS feeds. A demo can be viewed at BackStage.com/Digital.
