'Into the Badlands' Actress Emily Beecham to Star in Indie 'Daphne' (Exclusive)
The movie will center on a woman who witnesses a violent robbery that leads to a crisis of conscience.
Emily Beecham is set to star in indie feature Daphne from 45 Years producer Tristan Goligher.
The coming-of-age story centers on a young woman who rethinks her hectic lifestyle after she witnesses an armed robbery.
British director Peter Mackie Burns will helm the project, which is also being produced by Valentina Brazzini, who worked with Goligher on 45 Years.
Beechman is known for her role on AMC's Into the Badlands. Her feature film credits include the action-thriller 28 Weeks Later and the latest Coen Brothers feature, Hail Caesar!
Beechman is repped by ICM, the U.K.'s Troika and Seven Summits.
