Beatles Songs Coming to Music Streaming Services
The band's music will be made available on the likes of Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon.
The Beatles' songs will finally come to streaming music services.
Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play, Tidal and Amazon Prime Music are among the nine services that will offer the songs, including "Yesterday" and "Hey Jude," worldwide. The others are Deezer, Microsoft Groove, Napster and Slacker Radio.
The Beatles' music will also be available on free tier versions of streaming services.
"On December 24 at 12:01 a.m. local time — here, there and everywhere — the Beatles' music is available for streaming worldwide," a statement on thebeatles.com said.
The Beatles music has been available on Pandora, but has been seen as a persistent holdout in terms of adoption of new services in the digital age.
Billboard, part of the same group as The Hollywood Reporter, previously cited sources as saying the Beatles' music was on its way to streaming services.
