Bell TV offers Masters golf in 3D HD

Canada's first national 3D high definition TV broadcast
TORONTO -- Canadian phone giant Bell Canada on Friday said it will introduce the country's first national 3D high definition TV broadcast this weekend from the Masters golf tournament.

Montreal-based Bell acquired Comcast's tournament feed for its Bell TV satellite TV service, which will deliver the final two rounds of the Masters in 3D HD on Saturday and Sunday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The 3D HD offering will be commercial-free and free for Bell TV subscribers.

Rival Shaw Communications is also offering Comcast's 3D HD feed of the Masters tournament for its western Canadian cable TV subscribers only (HR, April 1).
