Bella Hadid Stays Fit With a Pizza Diet
At least that's what she said Thursday evening as she celebrated her new Joe's Jeans campaign.
How does Bella Hadid manage to fit into her tight-fitting clothes so well? "Right now, my diet is pizza," admits the 19-year-old model and younger sis of catwalker Gigi Hadid. "I'm not really a big working-outer person." It's a regime that seems to be paying off, as proven by Bella's latest gig as the face of L.A.-based denim brand Joe's Jeans.
Celebrating her new campaign shot by director and photographer Anthony Mandler (which launches March 21), the model joined friends and family for an alfresco affair at Sunset Tower, DJ'd by Balthazar Getty. "They sent me a bunch of clothes today but I wore my Joe's Jeans that I already had," admitted Bella. "I like working for companies that I actually like to wear, so that's a big plus for me."
Friends including stylist Jeff Kim and hair guru Jen Atkin turned out for the event, as did magician David Blaine, who wowed Bella with his signature sleight-of-hand moves. Also on hand was brother Anwar, the latest genetically blessed Hadid sibling to enter the world of modeling. Bella's advice for him? "Just be confident. I think that where he's at right now is where I was when I started modeling," she says. "I don't know if I should let him, like, tough it out and make him experience it. I still get nervous sometimes, so I'm like, 'I don't know how much easier it's going to get.' But I think he's got it."
And does Bella turn to older sis Gigi for tips? "I'll ask her about something maybe she's already shot before or with a photographer or something," she says. "It's nice to be able to talk to her about people we work with to kind of get the experience before we walk in, so we have an idea of what to expect. I love my sister."
