Ben Stiller's 'Next Time on Lonny' Premieres on Maker.tv (Video)
The first three episodes are available on the Maker.tv video streaming website.
Maker Studios and Ben Stiller's Red Hour Digital have premiered the second season of comedy series Next Time on Lonny on Maker's new online video platform.
The first three episodes of Lonny are available on Maker.tv, the streaming website that the Culver City-based firm announced at its NewFronts presentation in May, and YouTube. New episodes will now become available on Maker.tv every Tuesday and Thursday on the platform, and will then restream the following day on Maker's YouTube comedy channel, Nacho Punch.
Created by Alex Anfanger and Dan Schimpf, Lonny centers on the preview segments for upcoming episodes that never happen. Anfanger plays the title character, and Schimpf directs the series. Guest stars for the second season include Adam Scott, Patton Oswalt and Paul Scheer.
Lonny is executive produced by Stiller, whose Red Hour Digital also produced the Bachelor spoof Burning Love; Stuart Cornfeld; Mike Rosenstein; Debbie Liebling; Anfanger and Schimpf.
The writing duo, both managed by Brillstein Entertainment Partners, are currently working on Comedy Central series Big Time in Hollywood, FL. Directed by Schimpf, the series follows two brothers played by Anfanger and Lenny Jacobson who have been kicked out of their parents' house.
