Langley Perer has been promoted to director of development at Benderspink.

In her new role, Perer will help to develop and expand Benderspink's slate of current projects: "Torrente" and "$40,000 Man" at New Line, "Golden Years" and "Bob the Musical" at Disney and "Sweep the Leg" at Summit.

Perer, who joined the company three years ago, began as an assistant in the talent department, working her way up to director of development on the production side of the company.

Prior to joining Benderspink, Perer worked at Gersh. At Benderspink, Perer also oversees the careers of writers such as Ian Shorr ("Exempt"), Brandon Murphy ("Pony Bush"), Brian Nathanson ("The Occasionally Interesting Anti-Adventures of an Unnamed Girl") and Scott Rothman ("Frat Boy").
