The company will make its debut next month at the European Film Market in Berlin. Steinbauer will shop two projects to foreign buyers, artist Andrew Levitas' feature directorial debut Lullaby and Tom Shadyac's documentary I AM.

Levitas, who also wrote the screenplay, is set to start shooting Lullaby in the spring. Andrea Stone-Brokaw and Cary Brokaw (The Player, Angels in America) are producing the movie, about a man who learns that his ill father, from whom he's estranged, is planning on taking his own life within 48 hours.

A painter and photographer, Levitas foray into the film business includes producing indie film The Art of Getting By, which Fox Searchlight acquired at the Sundance Film Festival in 2011.

Shadyac made I AM following a life-changing  biking accident in 2007 that led him to re-evaluate his Hollywood life. The documentary, released in the U.S. last year by Paladin, features interviews with legendary philosophical thinkers including David Suzuki, Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

"Choosing exceptional product for the marketplace and working closely with my filmmakers is a prime motivator to launching Radiant. The international buyers are looking for the right product and meaningful support to release the films and we are well placed to do that," Steinbauer said.

Radiant, backed by private equity, intends to acquire and distribute six to eight titles a year.

Steinbauer most recently served as president of Hyde Park International, working on titles including Ghost Rider 2, Blue Valentine and Mchete. Prior to Hyde Park, she was a consultant for Voltage Pictures, which handled Kathryn Bigelow's Oscar winning film The Hurt Locker.

A native of Austria, Steinbauer also held senior positions at Franchise Pictures, Mobious International, New Line and Cappela.
