CJ Entertainment, which is handling world sales on the title in Berlin, also closed a deal for North American rights to My Way with Well Go USA.
Billed as the most expensive Korean film ever made, My Way tells the story of two childhood friends — one Korean, one Japanese (Odagiri Joe and Jang Dong-gun) — whose fate is intertwined with that of the war and which sees them travel from the Pacific conflict to the beaches of Normandy.
CJ also closed deals with Splendid for Germany and Benelux, Wild Side for French-speaking Europe, Scorpio East for Singapore, STG for Thailand and Knotty Ideas for Malaysia. The first market screenings for My Way in Berlin take place Saturday.
