Berlin 2013: Tele-Munchen Takes FilmNation's 'Solace'

The mystery thriller starring Anthony Hopkins and Colin Farrell begins shooting in May.
BERLIN -- German distributor Tele-Munchen Group has picked up all rights in Germany and Austria to the upcoming mystery thriller Solace, starring Colin Farrell and Anthony Hopkins.
The feature, directed by Brazilian Afonso Poyart (Two Rabbits), focuses on John Clancy (Hopkins), a former doctor with supernatural abilities who works for the FBI.
Beau Flynn, producer on Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, and Thomas Augsberger of Eden Rock Media, an acquisition consultant for TMG, will produce. Shooting is set to begin in Atlanta in May for a planned 2014 release.
FilmNation is handling worldwide sales on Solace at the EFM.
