Screenwriter Chase Palmer makes his feature directorial debut with Black Lung, about a young wife whose premonition about a pending disaster saves her husband but puts her under suspicion when an explosion entombs a group of miners. Worse, her visions point to a sinister force at work inside the mountain.

"Black Lung possesses that rare mix of qualities that we as producers dream about," said Emily Ziff and Sara Murphy of Cooper's Town.

Palmer is set to start shooting from his original screenplay this summer. Fukunaga (True Detective, Jane Eyre) is executive producing via his Parliament of Owls shingle.

Seyfried, who is repped by Innovative Artists, is next in theaters in Noah Baumbauch's While We're Young (March 27), Ted 2 (June 26) and Pan (July 24).

James, star of the Divergent franchise opposite Shailene Woodley, reprises his role in Insurgent, out March 20. His other upcoming films include Franny and London Fields, co-starring Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, and Jim Sheridan's The Secret Scripture. He's repped by WME and Markham, Froggatt and Irwin.
