'Twisted' boosts Intertainment rev
German rights group Intertainment, which was recently acquired by Kinowelt Group, trimmed its losses to €10.3 million last year from a staggering €22.2 million in 2005. Sales revenue, however, dropped to just €1.3 million against €17.9 million in 2005. The bulk of Intertainment's revenue came from world sales on Philip Kaufmann thriller "Twisted" (2004). Kinowelt is currently moving to merge Intertainment with Epsilon Motion Pictures, the rights group Kinowelt acquired from the insolvent KirchGroup. Kinowelt is also financing Intertainment's ongoing suit against Comercia Bank.
