BET Awards: Drake, Kendrick Lamar Among Big Winners

Drake was a big winner at the BET Awards on Sunday night, taking home three trophies, including video of the year and viewers' choice for "Started From the Bottom."

He also was featured on the winning song for best collaboration, A$AP Rocky's "F---in' Problems," also featuring 2 Chainz and Kendrick Lamar. Heading into the awards show, Drake led all nominees with 12 noms.

Lamar also won three awards during the show, held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles. His haul also included best male hip-hop artist and best new artist.

Other winners included best female R&B/pop artist Rihanna, best male R&B/pop artist Miguel, best female hip-hop artist Nicki Minaj, best actress Kerry Washington, best actor Jamie Foxx and best movie Think Like a Man.

Chris Tucker hosted the ceremony, which aired live on BET.

Among the scheduled performers were Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey, Snoop Lion, Janelle Monae, T.I., Minaj, Robin Thicke, Ciara, Miguel, Lamar, Chris Brown, R. Kelly, Steve Wonder, Erykah Badu, India.Arie, Charlie Wilson, J. Cole, Foxx, 2 Chainz, Kirk Franklin, Tamela Mann and Pharrell Williams. Angela Bassett, Gabrielle Union, Paula Patton and La La Anthony were among the presenters.

Miami Heat basketball star Dwyane Wade was honored with the Humanitarian Award presented by State Farm, while former Gap Band frontman Wilson was presented with the Cadillac Lifetime Achievement Award.
