"Thirty-plus years in the music industry will chew you up and spit you out, but all six of us are standing onstage right now. What an amazing thing," said Ronnie DeVoe.

Even as the 2017 BET Awards approached its scheduled end time of 11:30 p.m. ET, New Edition showed no signs of stopping anytime soon.

After accepting the Lifetime Achievement award — "30-plus years in the music industry will chew you up and spit you out, but all six of us are standing onstage right now. What an amazing thing," said Ronnie DeVoe — the iconic group quickly changed before reappearing to perform a medley of hits.

Dressed in all-white suits, the members ran through "Mr. Telephone Man" and "Can You Stand the Rain" while sliding in some signature dance moves as well.

Before receiving the award, Queen Latifah admitted, "I still bump 'If It Isn't Love' in my whip," and said  "We can all agree [New Edition] transcends generations and have earned the title living legends." The lengthy performance proved her statement true.
