Beyonce and Jay-Z Booed at Met Gala
Power couple Beyonce and Jay-Z were booed by the paparazzi at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual Costume Institute Gala Monday night. Their offense? Not enough time on the red carpet.
New York magazine's fashion blog tweeted from the event, "OMG Beyonce and Jay-Z are being BOOED at the #MetGala for not posing for pictures! Yes, boo!"
Seems that Beyonce's black and gold fishtail Emilio Pucci dress "was so tight to her knees she could barely walk up the stairs" according to the magazine, thereby hastening her entrance into the event.
"Photographers booed and yelled after she posed too quickly for their liking and then tried to make it the rest of the way up the stairs, probably not to disgruntle the photographers but simply because if she had to fall she didn't want to fall in front of all of them," the report concludes.
