Jay-Z posts video of his wife's stripped-down dressing room practice.
Beyonce unveiled her new single "1+1" on American Idol Wednesday night but it's an earlier, stripped down version of the song that's attracting attention.
Jay-Z posted a video of his wife rehearsing the song prior to the show on his Life + Times website. The clip shows Beyonce accompanied by only a piano and back-up singers, and it easily rivals her actual Idol performance.
The site says of the video, "Sometimes you need perspective. You’ve been right in front of greatness so often that you need to step back and see it again for the first time. This is the dressing room rehearsal for American Idol. NO MICROPHONE. No effects."
