Beyonce's Impending Baby Birth Sparks Internet Frenzy

On Saturday, reports began circulating that Beyonce had checked into the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York after going into labor. After more than a week of false rumors buzzing around that the singer and her husband Jay-Z had already had their baby, the news that it may actually be time set the Twitterverse into a frenzy once again.

Both the Daily Mail and ABC News reporterd on Saturday that the singer had checked into the hospital. On Saturday, claims on Twitter ran the gamut, some saying she had already had the baby, and other rumors stated that the powercouple had rented out an entire floor of the hospital. A rep for Beyonce did not immediately returns requests for comment.

Rumors have been circulating for more than a week that Beyonce, 30, had already had her baby. When the rumors first sparked, Beyonce's sister was quick to squash them. "Shout out to my sister for being THE cutest pregnant woman ever!" wrote Solange in a coy tweet this past Sunday.

Beyonce first announced that she was pregnant on the MTV Video Music Awards. She held her growing baby bump in photos and even mentioned her child during her performance on stage.

"Honestly, I just felt free," she said of her pregnancy reveal in an ABC interview with Katie Couric. "I really did, because I'd been holding the most exciting thing in for so long, and I just felt like, 'Wow, now I can enjoy and now I can just experience this the way that every woman should,' " she said. "I felt like, 'Oh, I can breathe and be happy. It was a beautiful feeling. ... I went straight off the stage and cried. I hugged my mom, I hugged Jay and just cried. It was a beautiful day."
