“He sucked. He looked tired. He had trouble getting his answers out,” Maher said on HBO’s Real Time Friday. “It looked like he took my million and spent it all on weed.”

Maher kept the Obama zingers coming, saying the president looked like the “Big Lebowski” and appeared so dead at one point that Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney “tried to baptize him.”

Although Maher mocked Obama for what he considered a lackluster performance, the HBO host slammed Romney's campaign “reboot,” which Maher said went back on Romney’s previous positions on taxes and other issues.

“I have not seen Romney this energized since HBO canceled Big Love,” Maher said. “In one single night, he was reborn as this taxing the rich, regulation-loving centrist.”

Pundits largely declared Romney the winner of the first presidential debate, and Democratic activists with a pulse on Hollywood say many in the entertainment industry were “shocked” by the president’s showing. Ice-T advised Obama via Twitter Friday: “No weed before the next debate homie."

The president is traveling to Los Angeles for an all-star concert Sunday, which insiders say will be used in part to assuage the post-debate worries of Hollywood donors.
