Billboard Launches Apparel Collection in Philippines With Oxygen Fashion

This marks Billboard’s first foray into the fashion world.

Billboard on Wednesday announced a fashion and lifestyle partnership with the Oxygen retail brand. The collaboration, dubbed OXYGEN X BILLBOARD, debuted in the Philippines on April 11 and is Billboard’s first foray into the fashion world.  

“As fashion and music continue to see tremendous change within their respective industries, Billboard has a unique opportunity to further connect with our global audience in one of the world’s most thriving fashion and entertainment markets,” said Francisco Arenas, senior vp business development and licensing at Billboard in a press release. “By partnering with Oxygen, we continue to expand an already diversified portfolio through the creation of a popular consumer franchise.”

To celebrate the collaboration, Oxygen hosted a pop-up music festival April 14 at TriNoma in Manila, featuring performers including Filipino singer Sam Concepcion. Radio stations also invited listeners to launches throughout Oxygen’s 78 stores, featuring Never the Stranger, She’s Only Sixteen and DJ Toby as regional musical guests.
