Michael Jackson was back on Sunday when the late King of Pop made a very special appearance at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards.

With smooth dance moves that perfectly mirrored the Thriller singer's skills, a hologram image of Jackson -- who died in June 2009 -- took to the stage at the star-filled awards show in MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The event showcased the song "Slave to the Rhythm" from the recently released Xscape album from Epic Records. 

Boxer Floyd Mayweather was one of the first to respond to the computer creation, which was imagined by BBMA director and producer Larry Klein and his team five months ago.

P. Diddy marveled. 

Mark Ballas from Dancing With the Stars gave the performance top marks.

NFL star Deion Sanders was inspired to create his own hologram after seeing Jackson's.

Comedian Jay Mohr had a very sarcastic reaction, mocking the global attention that Jackson got in both life and death.
