Billy Eichner, Seth Rogen Call Out Burger King for Ripping Off 'Billy on the Street'

Billy Eichner interviews Amy Poehler for 'Billy on the Street'

Also, the McDonald's Twitter account is now involved

The Burger King commercial that Billy Eichner, Seth Rogen, Judd Apatow and others are displeased with is, on the surface, mostly unremarkable: it's a "man on the street" interview featuring a man asking random people how much the fast food outlet's new chicken nuggets cost.

That the commercial's lead happened to seemingly mimic the excitable format of Eichner's Billy on the Street segments, however, drew scorn from the comedian and many others on Twitter. Especially after Eichner went on a Twitter tirade that drew in Rogen, Apatow and even the official McDonald's account in its wake.

For comparison's sake on how closely the BK ad resembled Eichner's comedy, here's a special Emmy segment of Billy on the Street
