Billy Elliot Dancer, 12, Killed by London Bus
Charlotte Leatherbarrow had appeared in the West End musical hit before the accident near her London home.
A 12-year-old dancer in London West End's Billy Elliot was "living her dream," before she was struck and killed in a tragic bus accident.
Charlotte Leatherbarrow's family told the BBC that the young ballerina was thrilled to be part of the long-running stage production.
But the young ballerina was hit by a double-decker bus when crossing a road near her home.
In a statement Charlotte's family described her as a "fun loving, thoughtful, caring and bubbly girl."
"She loved life and lived it to the full, already living her dream as a dancer," the statement said. "Each and every one of us will miss her enormously."
A spokesman for show said the cast, crew and production team were devastated by the news.
