Blake Shelton Announces US Arena Tour, Premiere of 'Footloose' Video
"The Voice" finalist Dia Frampton will open for the country singer in several cities.
Blake Shelton started the week with a couple big announcements. First, The Voice mentor is launching a national tour and second, his video for the upcoming film remake, Footloose, will premiere on Thursday.
Shelton will hit 27 cities on the “Well Lit & Amplified Tour 2012” starting in January in Toledo and ending in March in Las Vegas. His opening acts include country singer Justin Moore and his mentee on NBC’s The Voice, finalist Dia Frampton, as reported by All Access Music Group.
Also, Warner Music Nashville announced on Monday that his remake of Kenny Loggins’ “Footloose” for the upcoming movie of the same name will premiere on Entertainment Tonight on Thursday. That will mark the first time since Michael Jackson’s "Thriller" in 1983 where the entertainment news show will air a video in its entirety. The single will be one of four remakes from the original film’s soundtrack.
