Playing board games becomes high-risk behavior in the latest trailer for the forthcoming horror flick Ouija

Making the events of Jumanji seem like a walk in the park, the new Ouija trailer follows a group of young friends who try to chat with their pal from beyond the grave via the eponymous communication device. Evidently, ghosts don't have smartphones. 

The trailer features a number of jolts, particularly one involving oral hygiene. Dentists will not be pleased.

Olivia Cooke (Bates Motel), Ana Coto and Daren Kagasoff (The Secret Life of the American Teenager) star. Stiles White, who co-wrote the script, makes his directorial debut. 

Universal — clearly hoping the film is a bigger success than its last attempt at turning a board game into box-office gold, Battleship — releases Ouija on Oct. 24, just in time for Halloween.
