The $27.5 million estate was purchased by the classic entertainer and wife Dolores in 1939.
Entertainer Bob Hope and his wife, Dolores, moved to this Toluca Lake property in 1939; it has landed on the market for the first time at a whopping asking price of $27.5 million.
The 14,800-square-foot house rests on 5.16 acres of land and includes a two-bedroom, two-bathroom guest house, a two-bedroom, one-bathroom staff quarters, a one-hole golf course, a swimming pool and a mass of gardens.
The couple had architect Robert Finkelhor design the house, then acquired more land in the 1950s and brought in John Elgin Woolf to renovate the space and make it more modern.
