Bob Marley's daughter guilty in pot case
Charges stem from 2008 incident; sentencing set for OctoberOn Tuesday, Bob Marley's youngest child, 29-year-old Makeda Jahnesta Marley, pleaded guilty to having nearly a dozen marijuana plants inside her Philadelphia-area home, reports the the Daily Local News of Chester County.
In 2008, officers answering a domestic dispute call at the home Marley rented with other boarders witnessed her attempting to remove pot plants from the basement.
Tuesday's guilty plea was for the manufacture of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence. Sentencing is scheduled for October, when Marley's lawyer will reportedly request probation.
