Bonnie Pan Named President of Endemol Beyond
She comes from Maker Studios, where she was executive vp programming for the last two years.
Endemol Beyond USA, the digital arm of Endemol Shine North America, has tapped Maker Studios and Yahoo veteran Bonnie Pan as its new president, it was announced Thursday.
Pan replaces Adrian Sexton, who has served in the role on an interim basis since the departure of former president Will Keenan in August. Sexton will continue at Endemol Beyond as chief operating officer, a role he has held since September 2014.
Prior to joining Endemol, Pan served as executive vp programming at Disney-owned Maker Studios, where she oversaw original programming across gaming, lifestyle, family and entertainment. Before she joined Maker in August 2014, Pan was head of global programming and audience development at Yahoo's video division, bringing such projects as Community and Paul Feig's Other Space to the tech firm.
In her new role at Endemol Beyond, Pan will oversee the digital production and distribution studio, which works with creators including Michelle Phan through her Icon Network. She will report to Vivi Zigler, president of digital, brand and audience development at Endemol Shine.
"As digital content experiences a period of transformation and hyper growth, Endemol Shine is uniquely positioned to define new creative formats for storytelling and develop innovative partnership frameworks with brands, distribution partners and creators," said Pan.
