'Boy Meets World': Danielle Fishel Poses for 'Maxim'
The 31-year-old actress, who will reprise her "Topanga" role in "Girl Meets World," also reminisces about a bizarre encounter with Bob Saget.
Ex-child star Danielle Fishel, who became famous as "Topanga" in the '90s sitcom Boy Meets World and will reprise the role for the upcoming spin-off Girl Meets World, exposes her bombshell side on the cover of Maxim's April issue.
Fishel, 31, is shown wearing an open cardigan sweater -- and almost nothing underneath -- while clutching an old-school telephone. In a photo spread inside the issue, the actress vacuums the floor in a state of undress.
"We were in people’s family rooms every Friday for seven years," she says of the Boy Meets World crew in a Q&A. "When I watch old episodes, it’s like watching home movies, so I imagine that other people feel the same way. ABC’s TGIF lineup was probably the one time a week when parents and kids all watched TV together."
STORY: 'Boy Meets World' Follow-Up Finds Riley's Best Friend
The series' follow-up Girl Meets World sees Fishel's Topanga and Ben Savage's Cory as parents to a teenage girl named Riley, who will be portrayed by 11-year-old Rowan Blanchard. The pilot began filming last month.
When asked whether she partied with other members of the TGIF gang, Fishell tells Maxim about a bizarre experience involving Bob Saget, who was then starring as Danny Tanner on Full House.
"One time we were all on a private jet going to Disney World, and my mom, dad, and brother were also with me. We had these four seats facing each other with curtains, so we had our own little private family area. Anyway, we were trying to take a nap, and all of a sudden Bob Saget walks down the aisle, rips open our curtain, and shouts, 'Do you guys have any coke?!' Then he looks my dad in the eye, laughs, and closes the curtain. My mom was like, 'What was that all about?'"
