Bradley Cooper to be honored at ShoWest
Actor named comedy star of the yearBradley Cooper, star of Warner Bros.' summer comedy "The Hangover," will be honored as comedy star of the year at ShoWest.
Cooper, who gained prominence in the 2005 comedy "Wedding Crashers," stars in four other pics set to hit theaters this year, including "All About Steve," which co-stars Sandra Bullock. He was most recently seen in the romantic comedy "He's Just Not That Into You."
Cooper will be feted at an awards gala set to close ShoWest on April 2. The annual exhibition confab opens March 30 at the Bally's and Paris hotels in Las Vegas.
Cooper "has firmly established himself as one of today's major comedic talents," ShoWest co-managing director Mitch Neuhauser said. "He has rapidly become one of Hollywood's leading funny men."
