Brandauer, Koch spy 'Wind'
EmptyCANNES -- "The Lives of Others" star Sebastian Koch is joining up with acting veteran Klaus Maria Brandauer ("Out Of Africa") to star in the spy thriller "The Interrogation of Harry Wind" from first-time Swiss director Pascal Verdosci.
Set in Zurich in the 1950s, "Wind" is based on a true story. It follows special agent Rappold (Brandauer) who, shortly before retirement, receives a major espionage assignment. One of Switzerland's top PR managers, Harry Wind (Koch) has been accused of spying, and Rappold has to bring him down.
"Wind" will be produced by Alex Martin of Switzerland's Sunvision Filmatelier and is set for a 2008 theatrical release.
