Robert Pattinson probably didn’t have to stretch too far for his latest role as a handsome young man who is sought after by many women.

The trailer for Pattinson’s newest film, Bel Ami, premiered today.

Pattinson plays George Duroy, a poor former soldier in 1890 Paris who uses his good looks and seduction skills to gain wealth and status. Uma Thurman, Kristin Scott Thomas and Christina Ricci co-star as some of the women that fall for Pattinson’s irresistible character.

Adapted by Rachel Bennette from Guy de Maupassant’s novel, Bel Ami does not have an official release date yet.
