'Broad City' Tour Postponed
Originally scheduled to kick off March 4, the 18-city trek will now begin in November due to the season-two pickup.
Comedy Central is delaying the Broad City tour.
Originally due to kick off March 4, the 18-city Broad City Live tour is now postponed until Nov. 4, when it begins in Cambridge, Mass., the cable network announced Friday.
The reason for the lengthy delay is the season-two renewal, which executive producer Amy Poehler helped announce on Late Night on Feb. 24. Production on the new episodes is expected to begin immediately.
Tickets for the original March and April tour dates will be honored for the November and December shows.
Broad City centers on two friends (Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer) as they navigate their way through life in New York City.
Poehler, Jacobson, Glazer, 3 Arts' Dave Becky, Generate's Sam Saifer and Tony Hernandez are executive producers, with Eric Slovin as co-executive producer. Jacobson and Glazer created the series.
