Diederick Santer and Dan Isaacs will jointly run the U.K. production firm that is part of Endemol Shine Group.

Endemol Shine Group-owned U.K. production firm Kudos, the company behind such shows as Broadchurch, said on Thursday that it has named joint CEOs. They are Diederick Santer and Dan Isaacs.

Santer was most recently managing director at Lovely Day, a label he established with Kudos in 2010. Isaacs joined Kudos in 2003 and has been serving as its COO since 2011. Santer will be the creative lead, with Isaacs being the commercial lead.

The two succeed Jane Featherstone, who announced she was stepping down from the CEO role at the beginning of the year.

Said Santer: “It’s a privilege to take the helm of the U.K.’s preeminent drama production company and to build upon its extraordinary legacy of excellence and creativity. It’s particularly thrilling to be doing this in partnership with Dan, whose commercial acumen and international financing experience within the scripted world is without match.”

Said Isaacs: "Diederick and I have been great friends since university and have enjoyed a close working relationship over the last five years. Jane is a tough act to follow, but Diederick is definitely the man for the job. There is noone I would rather partner with to lead our amazing team at Kudos."

Featherstone will work with them during a transition period.

Tim Hincks, president of Endemol Shine Group said: “Diederick and Dan both know implicitly what makes Kudos tick and what it stands for. I’m absolutely delighted they’re stepping up and I look forward to the next generation of brilliant, ambitious Kudos drama under their leadership."

Other Kudos shows include The Tunnel and Life on Mars.
