Brothers and Sisters actor Luke MacFarlane and Patrick Breen (Broadway's Next Fall) have been cast in the Broadway play, The Normal Heart.
Breen will play Mickey Marcus and MacFarlane, making his Broadway debut, will play Craig Donner and Grady in the premiere presentation of Larry Kramer's play.
The pair join previously announced Ellen Barkin, John Benjamin Hickey, Joe Mantello, Jim Parsons and Lee Pace.
The design team includes David Rockwell, Martin Pakledinaz, David Weiner, David Van Tieghem and Batwin & Robin.
Joel Grey will direct The Normal Heart, which begins its limited 12-week engagement April 19 at the John Golden Theatre. Opening night is scheduled for April 27.
The Normal Heart centers on a city in denial and unfolds like a real-life political thriller. Focusing on a group of friends who refuse to let doctors, politicians and the press bury the truth of an unspoken epidemic behind a wall of silence.
MacFarlane plays Scotty in ABC's long-running family drama Brothers & Sisters.
