On Wednesday, Springsteen -- in promotional mode ahead of the release of Wrecking Ball, his 17th studio album -- announced a March 9 show at the Apollo Theater in Harlem exclusively for SiriusXM subscribers that will air on the satellite radio company's E Street Radio channel.
The 20-time Grammy winner, who will be keynote speaker March 15 at the South By Southwest Media Conference and Festival in Austin, Texas, launches a 51-date tour several days later in Atlanta. The musician along with E Street will journey through the U.S. and Europe, finishing up July 31 in Helsinki, as part of their first tour since longtime saxophone player Clarence Clemons died in June 2011.
It will also be Springsteen's first Grammys without Clemons. The 54th Annual event will be broadcast live on CBS from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
