BSkyB's 'X-Weighted' picked up
EmptyTORONTO -- Canadian distributor Picture Box Distribution said Wednesday that British Sky Broadcasting has renewed Anaid Prods.' "X-Weighted" for a second season.
Toronto-based Picture Box said BskyB bought another 13 episodes of the reality series about overweight people running, climbing or dancing their way to reduced fat.
" 'X-Weighted' fits the channel remit of delivering fascinating real-life stories for our viewers," Sky Travel chief Barbara Gibbon said in a statement.
Picture Box will offer the series at MIPDOC.
