Nicholas Brendon has found himself in handcuffs yet again.
The Buffy the Vampire Slayer actor was arrested Monday on suspicion of grand theft and criminal mischief, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
Brendon was arrested around 7 p.m. at the Hilton Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Flo., where he was appearing at a comic book convention.
According to TMZ, he reportedly was intoxicated and trashed his hotel room before falling asleep in a hotel employee's office, and in refusing to pay $450 worth of hotel room damages and approximately $380 in food and beverage purchases, he was also charged with grand theft.
"Nicholas' unfortunate incident in Ft. Lauderdale has led to a reevaluation of his past, present and future choices," his rep said in a statement to THR. "He's taking what happened very seriously and wants to improve upon the situation at hand. Nicholas suffers from an incredibly difficult disease that is misunderstood by those who have never been affected- but he's not using that as an excuse. His fans mean everything to him and his intentions to get healthy are sincere. He apologizes for his behavior and intends on making changes for the future."
Brendon was also recently arrested in October, during Tree City Comic Con in Boise. He was arrested for "malicious injury to property," and was reportedly charged with two misdemeanors, including resisting and obstructing officers.
In 2010, he received a suspended one-year jail sentence stemming from a incident for which he was charged with four misdemeanors, including battery against a police officer and vandalism. He went to rehab in 2004 and 2010.
