Byron Allen's Entertainment Studios Networks Brings on New Distribution VP
Eric Claytor, formerly of TV One, will be charged with expanding the company's eight HD networks from the new Denver office.
Eric Claytor has been named senior vp, affiliate distribution & marketing for Entertainment Studios Networks.
In an expansion for ESN, Claytor will be based at the new regional office in Denver -- where his job will be to accelerate and expand distribution of the company’s eight HD TV networks, which include Cars.tv, Comedy.tv, Pets.tv and Justice Centeral.tv.
“Eric’s incredible sales strategy and management experience, coupled with his extensive relationships with the distributor community, are major assets to our company,” said Byron Allen, CEO of Entertainment Studios.
“Eric is a terrific addition to our team, and he will help us forge our distribution across multiple platforms,” added distribution & marketing president Janice Arouh. “In order to accomplish this goal, Eric shares our vision to ensure every household in America has access to our extensive content portfolio.”
Entertainment Studios syndicates a large number of shows, after which they play in an on-going rotation on their HD Networks. For the most part those networks have had limited distribution, but hiring Claytor is part of an effort to grow those platforms on a national basis.
Claytor most recently has worked for TV One, as vp of affiliate relations for the western region and national accounts. He also held positions at The Sportsman Channel.
