CAA Adds Literary Agent David Larabell
His clients have included best-selling authors Joe McGinnis, John U. Bacon, Nick Schuyler and Jeré Longman.
Literary agent David Larabell has joined CAA’s Books department, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
The New York City-based rep will help the agency’s non-author clients pursue publishing opportunities.
Larabell spent the past nine years at the David Black Agency, where for the past six years he worked as an agent. His clients there included New York Times best-selling non-fiction writers Joe McGinnis (The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin), John U. Bacon (Fourth and Long: The Fight for the Soul of College Football) and Nick Schuyler and Jeré Longman, authors of Not Without Hope, which Relativity has optioned with Dwayne Johnson attached to star as Schuyler, a former football player and sole survivor of a boat outing that took the lives of three of his friends.
