CAA signs painter Thomas Kinkade

Artist looking to expand into film, TV, digital media

Thomas Kinkade is looking to branch out into the entertainment industry by signing with CAA.

The prolific painter, who has sold $4 billion of art and branded merchandise, will pursue opportunities in film, television and digital media.   

“I feel that my art has always told a story; now we will be bringing it to life through media,” Kinkade said.

Kinkade, known for his brand of inspirational paintings, made his foray into entertainment in the fall with the direct-to-video movie “Thomas Kinkade’s Christmas Cottage,” which was released by Lionsgate in November.

Kinkade continues to be managed by Dan Spilo of Crosby/Spilo Management.
