Cable Veteran Bradley Siegel Named TV One President
Siegel, who has previously served as president of Turner Entertainment Networks, is currently vice chairman of Atlanta-based UP
Former Turner Entertainment Networks president Bradley Siegel has been named president of cable network TV One, which targets black viewers.
Siegel, who officially joins the network Jan. 5, will be responsible for overseeing and leading all business and creative aspects of TV One, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary. He'll report to chairman and CEO Alfred C. Liggins III.

Siegel is currently vice chairman of Atlanta-based UP, which he co-founded with CEO Charley Humbard and launched in 2004 is carried in almost 70 million homes. During his tenure, Siegel oversaw programming and marketing and is also credited with playing a key role in the growth of distribution and advertising sales. as well as launching and overseeing UP's original programming strategy. He also played a key role in the network's partnership with the American Black Film Festival.
In 2012, UP partnered with Magic Johnson Enterprises to launch ASPiRE, a new network from Earvin "Magic" Johnson. Siegel led the team that conceived and developed ASPiRE with MJE and has continued as an advisor to ASPiRE’s management team.
Prior to UP, Siegel was president of Turner Entertainment Networks for Turner Broadcasting System Inc., where he was responsible for TNT, Turner Classic Movies, Cartoon Network, Turner South, Boomerang, TBS Superstation, WTBS Channel 17 and WCW as well a Turner Studios. He also oversaw the launches of TCM and Adult Swim and played a key role in signing Charles Barkley and Johnson to long-term deals for Inside the NBA on TNT as well as helping to bring Wimbledon, The British Open and NASCAR to the network.
