"She wanted something soft and feminine but also something that has strength."

Caitlyn Jenner's interior designer Lori Margolis spoke about Jenner's redesigned Malibu home in the new issue of Architectural Digest.

The house is featured in I Am Cait, and Margolis said it was important to Jenner to make the house feel like it reflected her style.

“Caitlyn always lived in beautiful houses, but designing them was Kris Jenner’s domain—Caitlyn wasn’t really involved," Margolis told the publication. "This time, she really wanted to put her personal stamp on the house.”

Margolis said Jenner's favorite piece is her 12-foot-long Homenature sofa which was custom-sized for Jenner's 6'2 frame and large enough to "accommodate as many Jenners and Kardashians as possible."

“Caitlyn has been making so many physical and emotional changes in the past year," said Margolis. "She wanted her home to reflect not just her sense of style but her journey. She wanted something soft and feminine but also something that has strength.”
