'Californication,' 'Swingtown' headed south

MEXICO CITY -- Warner Channel said Tuesday that it has acquired the new David Duchovny starrer "Californication" along with several other new series from CBS Paramount International Television for its programming lineup in Latin America.

Also among the pickups is "Swingtown" from Alan Poul, who has directed episodes of "Rome," "Big Love" and "Six Feet Under."

Other series included in the deal are "Eight Days a Week," "Life Is Wild" and "Cane."
