Cameron-Calling-Obama Photo Prompts Twitter Parodies
A picture the U.K. prime minister tweeted while on the phone with the U.S. president about the situation in Ukraine has inspired similar photos posted by Patrick Stewart and other stars.
LONDON -- A photo tweeted by U.K. prime minister David Cameron of him calling U.S. president Barack Obama has inspired parody pictures from Patrick Stewart and other stars.
On Wednesday, Cameron, an avid proponent of the use of social media to communicate a message, tweeted the following photo of him talking to the U.S. president about the situation in Ukraine.
After that, other stars got into the act, posting photos to Twitter of themselves pretending to be on the line, holding up various props to substitute for a phone.
U.S. comic Rob Delaney tweeted the following picture of him holding a tube of toothpaste as a phone.
And that's when Stewart came aboard, using a container of wet wipes as a phone.
