The cast is rounded out by John Krasinski, Danny McBride and Alec Baldwin.

Crowe wrote and directed the project, and produced it by Scott Rudin. Ilona Herzberg, Eli Bush and Ben Waisbren executive produced.

With the exit for Crowe's project, the 2014 Christmas weekend has four other wide releases: Hot Tub Time Machine 2, Into the Woods, Paddington and Angelina Jolie's directorial project, Unbroken.

The new date puts the film up against horror sequel Insidious Chapter 3 and Paramount’s Monster Trucks.
