Canada's MuchMusic Video Awards Headed to Britain's 4Music Channel
The British music-celebrity service has acquired the Canadian music video awards for its talent lineup that includes Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and LMFAO.
TORONTO – British celebrity/music channel 4Music has picked up the UK broadcast rights to the 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards.

The Canadian awards show, to feature a talent line-up that includes Justin Bieber, LMFAO, Katy Perry, Nelly Furtado, Kelly Clarkson and UK newcomer Ed Sheeran, is taking place Sunday night in Toronto.
4Music will air the 2012 MMVAs at a later date.
“This is the first time the prestigious awards have been broadcast on 4Music, and we’re expecting fun and mayhem from co-hosts LMFAO along with great music from the likes of Katy Perry and Justin Bieber,” Dave Young, director of programming at 4Music, said Friday of the distribution deal with MuchMusic-parent Bell Media.
