Canada's Blue Ant Media Inks Supply Deal With Our House Media
The exclusive distribution pact will get content from Simon Lloyd and Joe Houlihan's production shingle into international markets after their exit from rival Cineflix Productions.
TORONTO -- Newly launched Blue Ant International has inked an output deal with Simon Lloyd's factual production shingle, Our House Media.
The exclusive supply deal is the first for Blue Ant International, the distribution arm of Canadian broadcaster Blue Ant Media unveiled at MIPTV.
It also secures international distribution for the Toronto-based production shingle co-founded last year by Lloyd and Joe Houlihan after they left Cineflix Productions.
While at Cineflix, Lloyd and Houlihan oversaw the production of popular reality series that included American Pickers, the spinoff Canadian Pickers and Property Brothers.
"Both Simon and Joe's proven track record of creating exceptional, award-winning content will provide a consistent and reliable pipeline of premium programming for our international buying partners," Solange Attwood, senior vp international at Blue Ant International, said Monday in a statement.
Blue Ant Media's international division launched with around 700 hours of scripted and nonscripted programming.
