Cannes: Alison Brie-Dave Franco Comedy ‘Little Hours’ to Launch With Concourse

The Alison Brie-Dave Franco dark comedy The Little Hours has been acquired for international sales by Concourse Film Trade ahead of the Cannes Film Festival.

Fred Armisen, Jon Gabrus, Jemima Kirke, Nick Offerman, Adam Pally, Paul Reiser, Lauren Weedman and Paul Weitz round out the cast. Principal photography recently wrapped in Italy.

Baena most recently directed the 2016 Sundance bachelor party comedy Joshy, which sold to Lionsgate and Hulu for domestic rights and to Sony Worldwide for international. His first film, Life After Beth, was released by A24 domestically and Universal Pictures International.

Liz Destro of Destro Films produced Little Hours, which was executive produced and financed by StarStream Media and Bow and Arrow Entertainment alongside Productivity Media in partnership with Concourse. The pic also was executive produced by Exhibit Entertainment and Foton Pictures.

Concourse Film Trade is the global film sales arm of Concourse Media, run by Matthew Shreder and James Andrew Felts.

“It’s really impressive what Jeff and his team are able to pull off using unique and forward-thinking storytelling techniques to approach filmmaking in a new way,” said Shreder. “It’s an incredible testament to the talent at the table and their ability to perform."

The company will introduce the film to buyers in Cannes. WME and CAA are representing domestic rights.
