Cannes: Cinedigm Takes Digital Rights to Estlin Feigley's 'The Stream'

TORONTO -- Double Dutch International has sold the North American digital rights for the Rainn Wilson-starrer The Stream to Chris McGurk's Cinedigm.
Also in Cannes dealmaking, Double Dutch sold the directorial debut for Estlin Feigley to VM in Australia and MediAsia for pan Asian TV.
Cinedigm plans to release The Stream on DVD, digital and VOD platforms on August 26, 2014.
The film, from indie producer Dreaming Tree Foundation and screenwriter Colin Costello, also stars Christopher Gorham, Kelly Rutherford and Mario Lopez.
The Stream, set in the summer of 1981, sees a young man and his friends obsessed with George Lucas' Star Wars saga and wrestling with the neighborhood bully, small crushes and big imaginations.
