Cannes 2012: NonStop Takes 'Cosmopolis,' 'The We And The I' for Scandinavia
NonStop's Cannes shopping spree also includes Morgan Spurlock's Comic-Con documentary and Berlinale winner “Ceasar Must Die.”
COLOGNE, Germany – Swedish indie distributor NonStop Entertainment stocked up on titles at Cannes’ Marche du Film this year, taking Scandinavian rights to David Cronenberg’s Cannes Competition title Cosmopolis starring Robert Pattinson and Michel Gondry’s Director’s Fortnight opener The We & The I from sales agent Kinology. NonStop had previously acquired Wes Anderson’s Cannes Competition opener Moonrise Kingdom as well as Beasts of the Southern Wild, from Benh Zeitlin, which screened in the Un Certain Regard sidebar.

NonStop picked up rights for the entire Nordic and Baltic region for all titles, except for Cosmopolis, which NonStop only has for Scandinavia, and Caesar Must Die, which the company will release just in Sweden, Finland and Iceland.
